Choose the right upgrade for your car
Start with the problem you want to solve, then match the product to your vehicle and devices.
Dash cams
Choose front-only for a simple setup, front + rear for broader road coverage, or multi-channel when you also want cabin recording. Parking monitoring often requires a compatible hardwire kit and professional installation may be preferable in some vehicles.
Car chargers
For a phone, 30–45W is often enough when the device supports fast charging. For tablets, multiple devices or USB-C laptops, a higher-output 75W–145W+ charger can be more useful. Total advertised wattage is shared differently across ports, so check the output of the specific port you plan to use.
USB-C cables
A fast charger is only as good as the cable connected to it. Match the cable's power rating to the charger and device. A 100W cable is a practical choice for many USB-C laptops; higher-rated cables can offer more headroom for compatible equipment.
Wireless mounts
Check phone compatibility, magnetic/Qi2 support, vent type and placement before ordering. A mount should keep the display visible without blocking important vehicle controls.
Roadside safety
A portable tire inflator and jump starter are two compact tools that can solve common roadside problems. For a jump starter, match the unit to your vehicle voltage and engine size. For an inflator, keep it charged and check tire pressure when tires are cold.
